About this role

The Senior Project Manager will manage projects and provide project support across Gartner’s Power of the Profession Awards Program, the Supply Chain Top 25 Program and other ongoing research projects conducted by the Supply Chain Programs Team.

The Sr. Project Manager will work with supply chain experts and Gartner clients to deliver high impact research programs.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Chief of Research in the Gartner Supply Chain practice.

What you’ll do

Lead Gartner’s Power of the Profession Awards Program, the Peer Recruitment Process for Gartner’s Supply Chain Top 25 Program, and other research projects (as needed).

Define the scope, business requirements, and success criteria for assigned projects.

Manage execution of projects, including : completing assigned project tasks, managing stakeholders, tracking performance, and anticipating and resolving execution challenges.

Apply and follow project management methodology and best practices for all projects.

Execute process-related activities using principles of efficiency, simplicity, scale, and client impact.

Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement of research programs.

Contribute to team process improvements.

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required

2-5 years of experience managing projects, preferably in a research or consulting organization.

Strong communication skills and experience communicating with senior leaders and / or clients.

Experience with applications used for deliverables including SPSS, PPT and Excel.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 69,600 USD - 96,750 USD.

Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.

In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
