Our client is seeking a dedicated Mid-Level / Senior Insurance Coverage Associate with a focus on first- and third-party insurance coverage and extracontractual matters.
In this role, you will play a key part in our dynamic practice, handling a variety of policy types including commercial general liability, commercial auto, commercial property, trucking, and professional liability.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of relevant insurance coverage experience, particularly in policy interpretation and analysis, motion practice in state and federal courts, and managing discovery.
You will be responsible for conducting thorough policy analysis, issue spotting during claim reviews, and drafting coverage opinions or providing verbal analyses on complex coverage issues.
Your ability to think creatively and manage tasks with limited oversight will be crucial to your success. Experience with depositions and mediations is necessary, and trial experience, while not required, is considered a bonus.
Candidates must have at least three years of insurance coverage experience and be admitted to practice in TX (additional bars a plus).
