Meet the team :

The inventory control team assists shipping and receiving with the investigation of inventory discrepancies. We keep the operation moving by ensuring that inventory is accurate.

We ensure positive customer experience by assisting with complaint investigations.

Where you come in :

• Responsible for ensuring the daily cycle count is completed.
• Assist with investigations.
• Interface with other departments to help resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Opportunity to make suggestions to improve the operation.
• Assist the Shipping and Receiving departments with put-aways and pulling orders.
• Scrap obsolete and excess inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.

What makes you successful :

• Complete all warehousing activities including but not limited to receiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control in compliance with Safety, cGMP, and Quality Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform transactions in ERP / WMS system including but not limited to shipping, entering cycle counts, material receipts, shipments, etc.
• Investigate and resolve shipping or receiving issues utilizing ERP / WMS system.
• Must be able to perform intermediate functions in Excel including such as creating tables, sorting / filtering data, etc.
• In collaboration with the supervisors, assist in implementing process improvement ideas.
• A minimum of two years material handling equipment is preferred.
• A minimum of two years cycle counting / inventory experience required.

Experience and Education Requirements :

Typically requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience and High School diploma / certificate or

equivalent

Language Skills :

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Examples of English language proficiency may include (but are not limited to) : ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals;
• ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to verbally communicate with leadership, employees, and auditors;

ability to comprehend spoken language.

Physical Demands :

• Employees in this position may be required to perform the following physical activities : standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods of time;
• frequent use of the hands, fingers, wrist, and greater arm to handle small materials, tools, boxes, and trays; lifting and carrying objects up to 50Ibs;
• occasional overhead reaches and lifts; occasional lifts and reaches below the knee; occasional pushing and pulling of materials and objects with moderate forces;

occasional crouching / kneeling, twisting, and squatting movements.

Work Environment :

Employees may be exposed to the following environmental conditions while performing this job : work near moving parts, work with chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, exposure to intense light and / or intermittent light, fast-paced work, and elevated noise levels.
