Product Manager (Roll Label)

Position Summary

Responsible for implementing marketing plans to meet divisional objectives and achieve maximum profitability for assigned product lines.

Assists in managing the daily activities including pricing, product development, product positioning, sales promotion and advertising.

Possesses basic abilities to perform the following duties. Generally, requires management support and supervision to handle intermediate to difficult issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial strategy for the portfolio.
• Assist in developing and implementing a business plan for assigned product(s) in coordination with appropriate sales, marketing, R&D, customer service, supply chain, and operations representatives
• Develop pricing strategies
• Works with pricing analysts on customer-specific pricing requests when needed
• Understands and communicates effectively with R&D and Operations on customer needs, Critical to Quality requirements, and internal manufacturing processes.
• Work on cross functional teams to implement cost saving and new product development projects to achieve stated goals
• Work closely with supply chain on product placement and service programs
• Lead new product launch and commercialization and scale up efforts
• Perform basic product life cycle analysis to assist in multi-generational product planning, and develop promotional information, technical data sheets, and sales training and tools
• Manage portfolio, rationalizing products and improving profitability
• Works with sales personnel to support the selling effort.
• Maintain relationships with raw material supplier commercial and technical teams
• Work with the Sample Department in managing the sample program for existing products
• Work co-operatively with all functional groups within Mactac.
• Provide reports to management as required.

Selection Criteria :
• Education :
• Education :
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Engineering or related field
• Experience :
• Manufacturing experience desired
• Minimum 2-3 years of successful sales / marketing or technical relevant experience
• Advanced Microsoft Office experience required
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
• Other :
