Opportunity Description
Seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for our rapidly growing food company. This individual will be responsible for the full cycle accounts payable process and be capable of operating in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Job Duties
- Print invoices from AP email for processing
- Match, code and enter invoices in our SAP ERP system.
- Research and reconcile differences
- Copy and Scan invoices into SAP document management system
- Prepare check runs and process mailings in a timely manner
- Attach invoice copies to checks for upper management review and signatures
- Research and resolve vendor issues or discrepancies as necessary
- Other accounting / administrative functions necessary to support the corporate office at times.
Education
Associates degree in accounting preferred not required
Experience & Skills Required
- 3 + years accounts payable experience
- Food Industry experience preferred not required
- Ability to perform weight conversions (ex. Kilograms to pounds, ounces to pounds etc.) and other basic mathematical computations
- Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft word
