Position Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Mailroom Clerk to join our team.
This role involves various tasks in a fast-paced Print & Mail Centre environment.
The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of printing, mailing, and shipping processes and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sort and identify incoming mail and packages.
- Assist with moving supplies, including cases of copy paper, using provided equipment.
- Utilize two-wheelers, dollies, hydraulic pallet jacks, and power lift jacks as needed.
- Intake data into spreadsheets and assist with other clerical tasks as assigned.
- Ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate efficient mail processing.
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; assistance is available for heavier items.
- Comfortable with standing, walking, and sitting at a computer throughout the workday.
Requirements :
- Must possess a valid driver's license, as driving may be required after the initial hours are met.
- Previous experience in a printing, mailing, or shipping environment is preferred but not required.
Additional Information :
- Candidates will report to the mailroom upon entering the lobby, where they will receive a temporary badge and be escorted to their work area.
- Free parking is available on-site.
