job_description.job_card.job_descriptionHandling First Article Inspections (FAIs) and dimensional checks that ensure our aerospace fasteners are launch-ready Verifying nuts, bolts, connectors, and components against blueprints, customer specs, and contract requirements Decoding engineering blueprints / drawings and applying GD&T with confidence to ensure every detail is spot-on Reviewing supplier certs, test reports, and quality documents with a sharp, investigative mindset Logging inspection results and NCRs into SAP, keeping our data clean and audit-ready Collaborating across teams Sales, Customer Service, Customer / Supplier Quality teams, and Production to prevent problems before they fly Mentoring new junior (inbound) inspectors, sharing your technical know-how and raising the bar for the whole crew 35+ years of hands-on inspection experience in aerospace, medical devices, or other high-precision manufacturing Expertise with tools like micrometers, calipers, ring / thread gauges, and optical comparators Deep familiarity with AS9100, AS9102, ISO 9001, and customer quality requirements A sharp eye and decisive judgment youve led FAIs and made tough calls with confidence Strong organizational skills from paperwork to multitasking in a fast-paced environment Focus and grit youll be seated at a desk, inspecting in a warm, active warehouse environment Youve caught the big ones major discrepancies dont stand a chance when youre on the job, and youve saved the day more than once Youre the ask me person from setting up tools to reading blueprints and decoding specs, your teammates come to you first Audits? Your Mission
Be the expert who signs off on safety. Youll inspect and validate components to the industry's highest standards AS9102, ISO 9001, and customer-specific specs. Every part you approve supports pilots, protects passengers, and powers global flight. This isnt just a job its a responsibility with altitude.
Your Station
Your own precision inspection station, right where the action happens. Our warehouse is warm in the summer and always buzzing. Its hands-on, tool-forward work that rewards focus, skill, and stamina. If you like to get in the zone and at a fast space, this is your runway.
Your Tools
You wont be guessing youll be gauging. From calipers and micrometers to comparators and ring gauges, youll use top-tier tools to make precise calls that matter.
