Amherst Madison is seeking a Vice President of Recruiting and Agent Development to lead full-cycle recruiting as well as the development, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and competencies of real estate agents!

Responsibilities include :

Coaching

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive training programs to enhance Real Estate Agents’ skills and competencies.
  • Establishing and managing coaching programs for agents at all levels, focusing on professional growth and leadership development.
  • Mentoring and directing a team of senior agents to ensure consistent and effective coaching practices.
  • Providing one-on-one coaching to senior leaders and high-potential agents.
  • Developing and implementing performance improvement plans for agents as needed.
  • Developing a Monthly Production Report and reaching out to agents experiencing challenges with production or training attendance.
  • Creating and implementing retention efforts for the company’s high-performing agents.
  • Coaching, mentoring, motivating, and overseeing the current Growth and Performance Director.
  • Utilizing, mastering, and teaching the in-house training program developed by Essential Agent University.
  • Overseeing the effectiveness of training materials, e-learning modules, workshops, and seminars based on agent feedback.
  • Collaborating with department heads and senior leadership to ensure new training programs are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and industry best practices.
  • Monitoring, growing attendance, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous learning and development across the organization.
  • Collaborating with Marketing to promote training programs within the organization and ensuring agents follow through with the one-year training plan.

Recruiting

  • Developing and executing innovative recruiting strategies to attract top real estate talent.
  • Performing the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring to meet the organization’s metrics.
  • Collaborating with managers to understand their needs and develop appropriate recruiting plans.
  • Building and maintaining a talent pipeline to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.
  • Utilizing data and analytics to measure recruiting effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
  • Working alongside the Marketing Department to ensure is attraction of desired agents.
  • Keep up to date with the competition of brokers and what they offer, becoming an expert on the competitive landscape.

Financial oversight

  • Ensuring financial efficiency by maximizing revenue and minimizing expenses.
  • Ensuring the efficient allocation of resources to support training and recruitment initiatives.
  • Monitoring expenses and ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to develop and manage the budget for recruiting and training.
  • Proactively maintaining a budget-conscious mindset and bringing innovative ideas to leadership to save time, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.

Experience :

We are seeking an individual with a minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate sales, including a brokerage position or team leader role.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in recruiting, with a proven track record in talent acquisition, developing training programs, and coaching initiatives.

Strong experience in leveraging technology, analyzing recruiting programs, and building nurturing relationships that lead to successful agent recruitment is essential.

Demonstrated leadership abilities and expertise in creating and implementing effective strategies to drive organizational growth are highly valued for this role!

Education :

  • Must have an active Idaho Real Estate License
  • Associate Broker or equivalent preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Organizational Development, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Coaching certificate a plus!

Salary and Benefits :

This position offers a competitive salary of $100,000 per year, plus commission. The comprehensive compensation package includes Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 40 hours of sick time, 80 hours of vacation time per year, and 6 paid holidays.
