Field Services Engineer
LHH is seeking a Field Service Engineer for an excellent manufacturing company in Albuquerque, NM. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and assistance to our customers.
This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and exceptional customer service skills.
This is an onsite direct hire role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Installation and commissioning of products at customer sites.
- Conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
- Perform complex repairs and calibration of company products
- Provide training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and correct process variations on systems. Diagnose sources of hardware or process problems on equipment, facilities, or wafers.
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop solutions and improve product reliability.
- Document service activities, including maintenance reports, service logs, and technical documentation.
- Initiate purchase orders for parts.
- Responding to service calls and performing repairs as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
- Building strong relationships with customers and providing exceptional customer service.
- Representing the company professionally at all times and upholding our reputation for excellence.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience installing / repairing semiconductor / electronic production equipment.
- Advanced PC skills in MS Windows XP and Office
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours as needed.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and representing the company in a professional manner.

The anticipated salary for this position is between $70,000 and $80,000 based on a written compensation plan.
