LHH has partnered with an automotive company in Wyoming, MI and is looking for an Accounting Associate to join their team.
This is a three-month contract that will be fully onsite, 40 hours per week, with flexible hours from 7am-7pm.
The Accounting Associate will support the finance department by performing various accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and assisting with audits.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Prepare and file tax documents as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay Details : $19.00 to $22.00 per hour
