Leading Gaming Company (Video Gaming Terminal Operator) is seeking a Director of Sales to join our growing team in Chicago, IL.

Summary

Our Director of Sales role is ideal for someone that is incentive-driven, with a passion for building relationships and delivering results.

If you are a self-motivated individual contributor and a dedicated and attentive leader, we want to speak with you. Functioning as an individual contributor most of the time in this role, people leadership will be your second priority.

Responsibilities :

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the customer base and market presence.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.

Team Leadership and Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 7-9 sales professionals, fostering a high performance culture.
  • Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to ensure continuous improvement.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the development of tailored sales proposals and presentations to meet customer needs.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.

Sales Operations and Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and forecast sales accurately to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business goals.

Market and Industry Knowledge

  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and services.

Job Details

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in sales leadership, preferably within the gaming or technology industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
