POSITION SUMMARY :
Processor Judgments Position is responsible for the review and management of files in order to proceed with Motion for Judgment.
Individual must be able to follow defined procedures within tight deadlines according to client specifications and court requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsibility to review Matters to proceed with Motion for Judgment of Foreclosure and Sale
- Follow up with court(s) on status of actions pending to ensure matters are moving through the courts
- Prepare and file all required court pleadings related to Judgments, as needed.
- Provide court updates to appearing attorneys for department; Status conferences / Motion appearances
- Timely and thoroughly updates case management / client system as files are worked and in regard to status.
- Responsibility to run SCRA / PACER checks as determined by firm and client requirements; preparation and filing of Military Service Affidavits.
- Assist with other duties and special projects as needed and assigned by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
- Ideal if prior experience includes past work in mortgage and legal industry, preferably drafting of legal documents. 2+ years of customer service experience, 1+ years of general office experience.
- Ability to perform computer functions and to operate basic office equipment.
- Ability to work quickly, accurately and with attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
- Must be punctual and have good, consistent attendance.
- Must be a team player and willing to offer assistance when required
- Must use good judgment, be courteous and tactful in communication with clients and employees / supervisors.
