Responsibilities
The primary purpose of the Staff Pharmacist position is to provide a high level of comprehensive pharmaceutical services as defined in the Departmental Mission Statement.
Organizes, leads, directs and verifies the duties and functions performed by supportive personnel to ensure the provision of accurate, efficient, safe and effective medication therapy for all ages and population served by University Hospital.
Acts as a medication information resource to patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D. Degree from an accredited institution required. Residency training or Board Certification desirable.
Hospital experience desirable.
