Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our dynamic team and help us maintain our inventory and ensure our store remains well-stocked and appealing to our customers.
The Inventory Associate will be responsible for managing the inventory of our boutique, ensuring accurate stock levels, and supporting the overall efficiency of store operations.
This role involves receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory, as well as assisting with sales floor replenishment and providing excellent customer service when needed.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming shipments of merchandise, ensuring accurate counts and quality inspection.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom and sales floor, ensuring items are properly stored and easily accessible.
- Perform regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of store inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure the sales floor is well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Monitor and report on inventory discrepancies, damages, and loss prevention issues.
- Assist with merchandising and visual displays as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with locating products and answering inquiries.
- Follow all safety and operational procedures to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Keyholder Responsibilities :
- Open and close the store, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately and securely.
- Handle cash management tasks, including cash drawers, petty cash, and bank deposits.
- Act as the first point of contact for any security issues or emergencies during assigned shifts.
- Support the store manager in daily operations and assume leadership responsibilities in their absence.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail or inventory management is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems or willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift and move boxes of merchandise (up to 50 lbs).
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
