Description :
We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team! You will perform in-process inspections to determine the quality of products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare FAI report and communicate with shop floor on a day to day basis to establish product quality
- Prepare PPAP reports & Control Plan under supervision
- Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations under limited supervision
- Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
- Participate in routine visual inspections at warehouse
- Perform incoming inspection and communicate with vendors on a daily basis
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements : Qualifications :
Qualifications :
- 3-5 Years of previous work experience in quality control in a machine shop environment
- Experience with hand tool industry is a plus
- Blueprint reading is a must
- Well versed in using Caliper, Micrometer and Optical Comparator
- Associates Degree Preferred
- Forklift Experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to walk and stand for most of the workday and have the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Able to drive between multiple locations
