Job Summary
Papa Mia is bringing the taste of Italy to South Florida!
We are looking for a Gelato Store's Shift Manager who is able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking food environment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations, working to increase sales and revenue, and maintaining a high level of employee engagement.
Experience in the food service field, excellent customer service, cleanliness, detailed oriented, and excitement about working are musts.
Responsibilities will include all areas of the business; ice cream cones, making desserts, serving customers, taking orders, operating cash register, and all cleaning responsibilities.
Job openings are part time and full time with opportunity for growth for those who show initiative and skill set needed to perform all duties.

Responsibilities :
- Manage food and store operations
- Stock and rotate products in retail display freezers
- Clean the retail environment on an ongoing basis
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
- Sample gelati for guests, along with making menu suggestions
- Scooping and serving gelati, floats, shakes, and sundaes to guests
- Dedicate your energy while working to the ongoing promotion of our handcrafted menu items
- Creating and serving espresso beverages to exact details to guests
- Create and maintain food goods inventory
- Lead team in providing exceptional customer service
- Evaluate, train, and manage staff
- Work at a level of distinction that is above the industry standard
- Follow company policies and operational procedures
- Provide sales and productivity reports to upper management
Qualifications :
- High school diploma / GED
- Previous food handling and service experience
- ServeSafe or Food Handlers Certification
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, restaurant management software, and POS software
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent management and leadership skills
