The Role Be part of Waterworks’ expansion into new products and new markets! The Product Compliance Coordinator will work closely with the Senior Compliance Specialist, focusing on international markets.

In this role, you will research and coordinate compliance processes and procedures to ensure our products adhere to various country, governmental, and industry regulations.

Your responsibilities will include researching and identifying code compliance standards for different countries or sales regions, tracking product compliance data in our systems, coordinating product testing, and compiling compliance data.

This position also offers an opportunity to gain foundational knowledge in Product Development and Engineering within a dynamic company that distributes luxury goods to expanding global markets.

You will ensure that our product is designed and manufactured to the exact specifications needed to be embraced worldwide.

This is a hybrid position 3 days / week based in Danbury, CT.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Product Compliance team with international compliance; research and identify pertinent and current code requirements and legislation applicable to sales regions, such as WRAS, TISI, DVGW, and ACS.
  • Focus on product compliance outside of plumbing; specifically other lines of business Waterworks offers; research and identify pertinent and current code requirements applicable to sales regions, such as, Federal Regulations, Lacey Act, Tosca, Reach, and Rohs.
  • Obtain quotations, coordinate testing procedures through a Waterworks selected testing laboratory, and define test samples.
  • Contributor to Waterworks Product Standards for performance and safety.
  • Maintain compliance database by reviewing, updating and ensuring accuracy of all required regulatory documentation and attributes.
  • Develops and continues an in-depth knowledge and understanding of all applicable regulatory agency and performance standards through tracking and understanding emerging compliance engineering practices and standards.
  • Other special projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred; or equivalent experience
  • 3 plus years of experience in related field (production planning, manufacturing, plumbing)
  • Knowledge of national plumbing standards and / or product compliance procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word and Excel) and Smartsheets
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and maintain focus and composure
  • Some technical knowledge in assigned product line
  • Knowledge of national plumbing standards and / or product compliance and building product / codes preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and mechanical drawings
  • Required travel up to 10% of the time
