About Recovery Coach / Recovery Coach Supervisor Learning Communities
RC Learning Communities (RC LCs) provide an innovative approach to supporting and strengthening Massachusetts’ rapidly expanding addictions peer recovery workforce.
They build capacity to uphold fidelity to the addictions peer recovery coaching model by, fostering shared knowledge and communal resources.
The RC LC Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing 6 regional RC LCs, reporting to the REC Program Director.
This person will provide mentorship and technical assistance to 6 RC LC Leads, and give special attention to the following :
- Support the vision, mission, core values and objectives of the RC Learning Community on a statewide level.
- Uphold fidelity to the addictions peer recovery coaching model
- Foster a sense of community within the RC LCs as a whole that ensures diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Inspire a culturally responsive community.
Responsibilities
The RC LC Manager will provide cohesion and consistency, holding together all 6 regional learning communities. This person must be able to fill in and facilitate monthly meetings in-person and online and collaborate with the RC LC Leads as needed.
- Help develop content for the monthly RC LC meetings
- Collect documentation from RC LC Leads and synthesize information.
- Support data collection activities (meeting surveys, other activities as required)
- Meet with REC Program Director weekly
- Assist with developing outreach and recruitment strategies to include the entire state
- Responsible for statewide database of RC LC members, support adding / removing of members, as needed
- Update and upload new important or working documents and resources to the REC Platform
- Potential for full-time which would include REC training hours depending on qualifications
Schedule : Part Time; 20 hours per week
Requirements
- Must be an experienced Recovery Coach and / or a Recovery Coach Supervisor
- Must be a Recovery Coach Professional Facilitator (RCPF)
- Must have a thorough understanding of the peer model
- Must have at least three (3) years in recovery
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Strong facilitation skills
- Familiarity with virtual engagement
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skills and ability to multi-task
- Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with carrying out public engagement
