Vaco Boston has partnered with our client who is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst. In this role you will perform a range of tasks primarily in the areas of SEC tax reporting (ASC 740) and US tax compliance.
The position will also provide exposure to global tax planning, transfer pricing, and other special projects.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and year-end global tax provisions
- Maintain and prepare support schedules for financial statement presentation of income taxes for the quarterly and annual SEC filings
- Assist with ASC 740 analysis
- Prepare US consolidated federal and state income tax returns
- Prepare and review book / tax differences for the preparation of US income tax returns.
- Prepare international tax forms associated with US federal tax filings
- Participate in special projects including transfer pricing, global tax planning, and other domestic and international income tax issues (as time permits).
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting; MST and / or CPA preferred
- 4 years of relevant tax experience working in a public accounting firm or in a tax department for a US multinational corporation preferably with some US International tax experience
- Strong Excel skills, including data gathering / manipulation; knowledge of Alteryx, Power BI desired
- Corptax experience highly preferred; general ledger and accounting experience is a plus
