Technical Sales Associate Details :
- Direct Hire position
- $ to $ / annually
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08 : 00am to 05 : 00pm)
- Generates revenue by obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts.
- Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
- Develops sales opportunities by building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
- Verifies and enters information.
- Fills orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery date, and explaining stock-outs.
- Develops accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
- Maintains communication equipment by troubleshooting, reporting, and tracking problems.
- Maintains and improves quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures.
- Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
- Accomplishes department and organization goals
- Pursue payment of orders
Technical Sales Associate Qualifications :
- Worked in counter sales / inside sales in HVAC, plumbing or hardware
- Customer service experience 2yrs. Min. Req. (Office / Clerical)
- HS Diploma or equivalent a plus but not Req.
- Home depot, Walmart associate : any type of merchandising -
- shelve knowledge - measurements, what's needed to assemble, etc.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
