Technical Sales Associate Details :

• Direct Hire position
• $ to $ / annually
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08 : 00am to 05 : 00pm)
• Generates revenue by obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts.
• Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
• Develops sales opportunities by building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
• Verifies and enters information.
• Fills orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery date, and explaining stock-outs.
• Develops accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
• Maintains communication equipment by troubleshooting, reporting, and tracking problems.
• Maintains and improves quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures.
• Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
• Accomplishes department and organization goals
• Pursue payment of orders

Technical Sales Associate Qualifications :

• Worked in counter sales / inside sales in HVAC, plumbing or hardware
• Customer service experience 2yrs. Min. Req. (Office / Clerical)
• HS Diploma or equivalent a plus but not Req.
• Home depot, Walmart associate : any type of merchandising -
• shelve knowledge - measurements, what's needed to assemble, etc.
• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
