St. Charles Borromeo School is accepting applications for full-time classroom teachers for the 2024-2025 school year. We are looking for educators who share an unwavering commitment to raising student achievement and an appreciation and respect for Catholic culture, identity, and values.
St. Charles Borromeo School teachers are eager for continuous feedback as they develop their instructional practices and grow professionally.
At St. Charles Borromeo School, we support teachers through weekly school-based professional development, as well as individualized coaching and feedback sessions from school-site leadership.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Developing a positive and structured classroom environment that engages students and motivates them to succeed
- Assuming responsibility for the academic progress of students with a high sense of urgency and ownership toward quantifiable results
- Developing weekly written lesson plans that correlate with St. Charles Borromeo's ELA curriculum, goals, and objectives by grade level
- Collaborating with colleagues to plan units and lessons and develop expertise in implementing instruction
- Fulfilling the school's mission to educate the whole child, mind, body, and spirit
- Regularly creating and communicating with families of students in a positive and respectful manner
- Keeping up-to-date records on student academic and behavioral progress
- Participating in ongoing professional development sessions to grow as an instructional leader

- Strong instructional, classroom management, and discipline skills
Position Requirements :
- A bachelor's degree from a competitive university is required, a master's degree is preferred
- Respect for and appreciation of the Catholic faith and Catholic education
- Must pass a background check
Schedule :
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Teaching Certification (Preferred)
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Benefits for all teachers are negotiated by the union (the Federation of Catholic Teachers and Association of Catholic Schools), pay starts from $47,104.21 per year
