Process Technician

Join a global leader in manufacturing technology for the construction industry. Our client is seeking a Process Technician to join their team and skilled technicians.

We are looking for someone with machine operation experience, strong multitasking skills, and the ability to flex and manage multiple machines during production.

We are open to entry-level candidates who are reliable, driven and want to learn, and have a strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• Experience with molding machines, how to change out molds and hydraulics, and working with electrical and injection molding equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Ideally, I want a minimum of three years in injection molding or plastics.
• Can lift to 40lbs and be on your feet all day.
• Solid communication skills do attitude, respect to team members, and commitment to your work.
• Technology savvy and willing to use a computer to plug in job codes and edit as needed. You cannot be afraid of computers and learning the program.

Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, operate, and troubleshoot plastic injection molding machines. In this role, you are expected to run 2-3 machines at one time.
• During the production process, you will monitor the parts, ensuring they meet all quality standards, and identifying and addressing problems as needed.
• Follow SOPs when working with molds, machines, and material handling equipment and verify that everything is set up correctly according to SOP standards.
• Once machines are set up, start the production run, consistently checking parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot processing problems, perform preventative maintenance tasks, and document process changes.
• Operate forklifts, hoists, and hand tools safely and efficiently while handling production material.
• Package finished product when signed off on.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education : HS Diploma or GED preferred.

Schedule : Sunday-Thursday 11 pm-7 am

Pay : $21-$24 / hr. DOE.
