Water Treatment Service Technician-Plumber
Kinetico Advanced Water Systems is looking to hire Water Treatment Service Technician Plumbers for our growing Denver, CO Division.
The primary responsibilities of the Service Technician is to service, maintain,and install water treatment systems across our Denver territory.
Candidates will be provided all necessary water treatment and plumbing training and will go through the Kinetico Advanced Water Systems Water Treatment Certification Program.
Training includes the 4+ Essentials of water treatment, the science behind water contamination, how to effectively and efficiently resolve water quality issues, as well as training on how our industry-leading water treatment equipment operates.

Qualifications :
- Must be a go-getter looking to learn fast, work hard, and be rewarded for your efforts
- Ability to handle physical workload, lifting heavy equipment, bending, kneeling, working in crawl spaces.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Hours accrued working on plumbing can be utilized towards a plumbing license.
Essential Job Functions
- Service and maintain water treatment systems across the Triangle area. Systems range from water filtration, ion exchange, purification, sanitization, and other specialty systems.
- Replace sediment filters and reverse osmosis filters. Swap chemical filtration tanks and acid neutralizer tanks. Refill brine drums, soda ash tanks, and other chemical media.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform equipment repairs / replacements.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Develop strong, meaningful relationships with consumers (both retail and commercial).
- Act as an educator, teaching people about water and how to best resolve issues with contamination.
- Learn and explain the engineering behind Kinetico water treatment systems.
- Must be able to stay on task and develop strong daily habits to maximize your ROI.
- Absolutely must be able to learn about the chemistry of water, contamination and the science behind water treatment.
- Must be extremely goal oriented and enjoy being rewarded for exceeding expectations.
