The company is bringing its high-quality products, top-notch customer service, and expertise to the burgeoning Florida cannabis market and is currently opening stores throughout the state.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the procurement and distribution of non-medicated items to retail locations. This role also entails multistate analysis and assortment curation at the retail locations.

Responsibilities

Vendor Management & Sourcing

  • Vet, onboard, and manage vendor relationships
  • Source non-medicated products, negotiate wholesale rates, set SRP, and manage catalog in both ERP and POS systems

Buying & Inventory Planning

  • Leverage sales data and current inventory levels to create and submit purchase orders
  • Responsible for replenishing stores based on forecasted demand and presentation minimums
  • Optimize cost inventory ownership, and execute store-level inventory consolidations as needed
  • Partner with the marketing team to highlight promotional opportunities and plan effective demand simulation strategies

Assortment Ownership Analysis

  • Curate national assortment of non-medicated items for retail and eComm, leveraging sales data and market research to optimize portfolio
  • Ideate, execute and analyze assortment and pricing strategies that maximize revenue, increase space utilization, and appeal to the local market
  • Dictate and manage store-level breadth and depth strategy including visual merchandising

Additional Purchasing Responsibilities

Support purchasing team in vendor correspondence, executing purchase orders, inventory management, sales analysis, etc

Requirements

  • On-Site in Denver, CO (hybrid role)
  • 2-3 years experience preferably in inventory planning, allocation, buying, or supply chain
  • Cannabis industry experience is a plus
  • Obtains a detail-oriented, collaborative, and analytical skill set
  • Excel proficiency is a plus
  • Ability to read / write in English
  • Reliable transportation
