As Gannett Fleming continues to expand our client and project portfolio in the West Region, we are excited to identify an experienced Inspector to run the inspections of medium to large scale Transportation and / or Transit related projects throughout the greater Concord Area.
You will be responsible for observing and documenting contractor’s work, verifying compliance with the plans and specifications, documenting quantities, and providing support to the Resident Engineer in the resolution of construction issues.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Prepare daily reports
- Monitor quality control testing
- Coordinate quality assurance testing
- Measure quantities and document
- Monitor contractor schedules
- Assist with documenting payment applications and change orders
- Assist with constructability reviews
- Assist with project filing system
- Update As-Built drawings
- Resolve technical issues in the field
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma
- Prefer 3+ years of transportation-related inspection experience
- Must possess a driver’s license
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
