Base pay range

$210,000.00 / yr - $220,000.00 / yr

Our client, a Forbes award-winning Fortune 500 Company, is looking to bring on a Director-level in-house Counsel to their legal team.

Responsibilities

• Master knowledge of the overall business, with an intimate understanding of the region or business unit, and becomes embedded with key business team as a trusted partner
• Serves as primary legal representative for the region or business unit, offering proactive solutions and risk mitigation strategies
• Acts as senior subject matter expert on all country-specific legal requirements and provides legal counsel on a wide array of areas, including Commercial strategy, anti-trust & competition, data privacy, and corporate governance
• Bring creativitive and strategic ideas to C-suite executives to continue to grow the company
• Keeps abreast of legislative changes with a focus on antitrust / competition law, and proactively drives understanding across legal teams
• Ensures proper due diligence and compliance with corporate policies and applicable laws
• Drafts contracts of varying complexity, including contracts for which there are no existing templates and that require significant creativity
• Promotes common tools, processes, practices and is a strong participant in departmental IT projects
