Schedule : Full Time Shift : Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm / Friday 8am - 1 : 30pm Location : 2501 N. Orange Ave., Suite 514, Orlando, FL 32804 The role you’ll contribute : The Radiology Technologist under the direction of the Office manager / Clinical Supervisor performs radiologic procedures as ordered by the physician.

Assists the physician during casting, treatment and examination of the patient. The value you’ll bring to the team : + Prepares patients for radiology procedures.

Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety. + Uses a gonadal shielding, when possible, for all patients of childbearing age and all pediatric patients.

• Develops and processes radiology film. + Maintains x-ray film files in a neat and orderly fashion. Ensures that reports and / or films are available for the physician in a timely manner.
• Logs radiology procedures completed. Processes routine paperwork. Types and files report as requested. + Orders x-ray supplies on a routine basis.

Rotates film stock. Verifies correct charges on charge slip for x-rays, treatments and procedures The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed : Minimum qualifications : + High school graduate or equivalent.

Graduate of a recognized Radiology Technology program + Current, valid State of Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license + Current, valid American Registry of Radiology Technologists certification + Current, valid CPR certification + Must be willing to float to other AHMG practices, within reason, when patient load, vacation schedules etc.
