Seeking an experienced Sr. Audit Associate to join our growing team at GGM Associates. GGM Associates is an independent public accounting and advisory services firm in the United States.

As a Senior Audit Associate, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
Essential functions include but are not limited to :
Help develop and implement audit strategy and plan
Review workpapers and provide real time feedback for associates
Manage engagement status and client relationships
Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and / or opportunities arise.
Invite and give in the moment feedback in a constructive manner to associates and interns.
Share and collaborate effectively with others.
Handle, manipulate and analyze data and information responsibly.
Follow risk management and compliance procedures.
Keep up to date with developments in area of specialism.
Communicate confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner - verbally and in the materials produced.
Build and maintain an internal and external network.
Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
Education & Experience Required :
Bachelor Degree with a focus in accounting
2-4 years of related work experience.
CPA eligible a requirement
Knowledge with Thomson Reuters Advanceflow and Checkpoint Engage a plus
Demonstrates knowledge and / or a proven record of success in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.
S. GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (U.S. GAAS), emphasizing some understanding - for the respective industry - of business and accounting issues, and the technical accounting and financial reporting standards.
Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects / tasks simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve the goals of the organization
Ability to analyze the processes responsible for, recommend efficiencies to the process and implement the improved changes
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
