As the Senior Plumbing Estimator , you will play a vital role in the success of the company. Your responsibilities will include :

• Utilizing your proven working experience in construction estimating or a related field
• Demonstrating a strong technical knowledge of various mechanical systems
• Applying your expertise in HVAC and piping systems, construction details / design, and relevant rules and regulations
• Collaborating with the team to develop thorough and accurate estimates and scope of work / proposal documents
• Filling in the gaps" in bidding documents to ensure a complete estimate is produced
• Working independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Using your excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information
• Managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and handle changing priorities
• Seamlessly navigating construction drawings and specifications
• Exercising your basic knowledge of construction accounting

To excel in this position, you should possess the following essential job functions :

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• A strong background in construction estimating or a related field
• Deep knowledge of HVAC and piping systems, building products, and construction details / design
• Familiarity with relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Basic construction accounting knowledge
• Proficiency in reading construction drawings and specifications
• Self-motivation and excellent time management skills
• The ability to work within deadlines and multitask with changing priorities
• The capability to develop thorough and accurate estimates and scope of work / proposal documents
