Job Title : Training Support Specialist (92F and 92W) Petroleum and Water Department

Essential Job Functions :

• Support site maintenance tasks in preparation of training events and clean up including but not limited to : Daily Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) IAW the respective -10 TM prescribed operator level actions for all vehicles and equipment.
• Perform set up / tear down of all equipment used for training in the field.
• Perform minor equipment / vehicle restoration and repair work (such as rust removal, touch-up paint, etc.).
• Perform seasonal site maintenance; maintaining berms; and performing gravel patch work on the training sites.
• Report all equipment requiring corrective maintenance to the site manager during PMCS.

Required Qualifications :

• High school diploma or General Education Diploma.
• Experience as a former E5 with five (5) years military experience in MOS 92F.
• Must possess a valid CLD Class A driver’s license with HAZMAT endorsement.
• Must be able to perform duties requiring moderate lifting (not to exceed 45 lbs.), long periods of standing, sitting or walking, and working in inclement weather conditions on occasion.
• Must be able to complete military licensing training for within five (5) business days of the start of performance on this task order.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs without assistance.

Security Requirements : Possess or obtains a NACI Clearance and maintain the required security clearance throughout the life of the contract.

Work Environment : This job operates in a professional classroom and office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Demands :

• Stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time while delivering training.
• Be able to maneuver in and out of strategic and tactical equipment, and capable of lifting and moving electronic equipment in access of 40lbs in and out of classrooms and labs.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work :

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m. Workdays do not include working or conducting business on Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed closings.

Travel : May require travel throughout the CONUS

• May be asked to provide proof of US citizenship
• Must be able to maintain a US Government issued NACI Clearance with Background check.
