Advanced Mobile Medicine is currently seeking a Billing Specialist in Bellevue, NE.
Hillcrest Health Services is acting as the search firm for Advanced Mobile Medicine.
What are my responsibilities?
- Preparing and submitting billing data and medical claims to insurance companies.
- Medical claims follow-up and resolution.
- Ensuring each patient’s medical information is accurate and up to date.
- Examining patient bills for accuracy and requesting any missing information.
- Following up on missed payments and resolving financial discrepancies.
What do I need to be considered?
- Familiarity in Microsoft Excel, Word and / or Google Docs.
- Solid understanding of billing software and electronic medical records.
- Experience working in Athena electronic health record or other similar systems preferred.
- Medical office experience preferred.
- Medical billing experience required.
- Training, certification or experience in medical coding or credentialing preferred.
