Requirement :
InboundAppointment Management - responsible for keeping track of all the inboundappointments in the 10k and 5k lanes. Communicate with carriers on the statusof truck ETA’s.
Coordinatebetween the carrier and the local team to determine if the freight will beaccepted or if it will need to be rescheduled.
If a carrier has appointmentholds in place already, coordinate the cancellation of the hold and scheduleappointments for other carriers.
This alsowill include generating load reports for distribution to warehouse management.
ManageInbound flow of trucks being called over from the bayside staging area to theunloading area at the warehouse.
Work with dri versand work with inbound team to identify trends and re-educate staff accordingly
Manage thewarehouse pager system including trouble shooting and coordinate dailyoperations between logistics, warehouse, and security.
Coordinatewith the carriers and the quality, logistics, receiving, and planning teams totrack shipments flagged with a known quality issue and help ensure theshipments are isolated and confined upon delivery to the plant.
Alert the teamsupon arrival.
Respond tostatus request with updates from Suppliers, Carriers, Buyers, etc.
Requirements :
Minimum of 1year experience in Logistics
Exposure forOTM is a must.
Stronganalytical, written and verbal skills.
Associates degree in business or related field or equivalent operation experience
