In this role, you will :
- Support an agile development team as an Automated Tester
- Work with the client to understand the strategy and testing automation approach
- Create and maintain automated test scenarios following object oriented test design principles
- Drive technical direction for solutions and understand the business problem the team is solving
- Use QA and Automated Testing tools to test applications
- Report and manage defects using a defect-tracking tool
- Report and communicate automated testing status
Who You Are :
- Experience creating and executing test scenarios, analyzing and documenting software defects based on requirements and design specifications.
- Ability to interpret business requirements, understand system design, and develop effective test scenarios.
- Proficiency in at least one test case management and defect management tool (e.g., Microsoft Test Manager (MTM), HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Quality Center (QC)).
- Solid understanding of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and STLC (Software Testing Lifecycle) in both waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in creating SQL queries against databases to validate business scenarios.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with industry-standard testing, development, quality assurance methodologies, verification, and validation processes.
- 5 years of hands-on experience building automation scripts using Selenium, Java, Appium, Cucumber, and Ruby for UI Automation.
- Experience in API automation using tools like Postman, Ready API, or similar.
- Previous role as Quality Assurance Automation in Agile methodology.
- Comprehensive understanding of software development lifecycle and test cycles.
- Ability to write effective test cases and scripts.
- Experience in gathering, documenting, and testing business and functional requirements.
- Consulting experience desired
