Duties & Responsibilities
Directly work with the Zip Ride Manager.
Provide helpful and efficient service and maintain a friendly and cheerful attitude
Train and manage staff so that they have the knowledge to carry out a safe and fun program
Responsible for all paperwork, logs, and inventory control for the program
Monitor equipment and facility conditions and report and deficiencies to Aerial Director
Partake in periodic performance evaluations of staff and in disciplinary actions
Effectively maintain a training and practitioner experience portfolio
Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership
Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook
Qualifications & Training
21 years of age or older
Required : C.O.P.E. Director National Camp School Card (training provided)
Required 1+ yr. leading teams, prefer 1+ Summit employment
Preferred : Documented Zip Line Tour work experience
Comfortable at heights of 6' to 180'
Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination
Be or become a registered member of Scouting America
Performance Results
Completes contract period with 2-4 positive experiences
Receive one or more Staff Appreciation Cards from staff or participants
Contribute at least one improvement to the Zip Line program
Provide at least one memorable moment that matters to a participant
Physical Requirements
Up to 9 hours a day of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 70 lbs.
