Central Ohio Primary Care is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer or Clinical Assistant to join our COPC Sports, Spine & Joint office in Westerville, OH.
This position plays a key role in patient care working with our providers in providing the best in patient care. This is a full time position working Monday- Friday 8a-4 : 30p.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Escorting patients to exam rooms.
- Recording patient medical, social and family history.
- Measuring patient vital signs (blood pressure, weight, height).
- Casting, taping and splinting.
- Drawing injections.
- Assisting with Home Exercise Programs.
- Assisting with educating patient on care-gap closures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited professional athletic training education program
- Graduate of a Athletic Training program.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Record systems preferred
- Must have proficient computer skills
