Senior Manager Operations and Supply Chain

Here's what you'll be doing :

• Lead development of the operational strategy including supply chain strategy, key partnerships, target retail service levels, etc.
• Create efficiencies within supply network to ensure on-time delivery in full with key partners, develop plans to manage or reduce operating costs
• Optimize regional inventory at 3PL warehouse partners and distributors; monitor on-hand inventory levels at retailers
• Understands macro-business trends affecting supply chain and operations; define and develop as scalable supply chain and distribution strategy for the region
• Reconcile demand inputs from retailers to build demand plan and confirm supply needs
• Oversee inbound and outbound freight activities, as well as carrier negotiations
• Ensure implementation and execution of global supply chain standards
• Maintain close alignment with other departments including sales, product management, IT, etc.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvements
• Serve as subject matter expert on primary Supply Chain and Operations topics

Here's what you need to qualify :

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business or other related fields.
• 7-10+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain and Operations related functions, with specific experience operating in global organization
• Strong working knowledge of shipping, warehousing and inventory control practices, as well as computerized ordering / inventory tracking systems
• Planning and Forecasting, with specific experience in planning high number of variants with inputs from multiple channels
• Solid working knowledge of retail distribution channels and service level requirements
• Working knowledge of common IT solutions in the area of SCM / Logistics, including SAP
• Experience in re-designing or implementing new processes
• Proven history of managing ambiguity and complexity in growing organization
• Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels with internal and external stakeholders, both in the USA and China.
• Strong interpersonal and conversational skills, comfortable presenting to larger audiences from C-level management to retail sales associates
