POSITION : Analyst
LOCATION : Alexandria, VA (On-Site)

Red Carrot is seeking an Analyst to join a team to support our federal government client. This analyst must be capable of providing all-encompassing administrative support and managing day-to-day administrative affairs efficiently.
You will be required to be in the office located in Alexandria, VA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Administrative Responsibilities :
- Manage day-to-day administrative operations, including scheduling and maintaining the client’s calendar, coordinating meetings, and resolving scheduling conflicts.
- Provide high-level administrative support by preparing agendas, presentations, reports, meeting materials, and minutes.
- Proficiently use Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to format reports, maintain databases, track systems, and manage documents.
- Handle communications, including drafting email responses, screening and directing calls, and managing stakeholder email / distribution lists.
- Compile and analyze metrics for social media, web, and other relevant platforms, providing data-driven insights to inform strategy.
- Coordinate administrative tasks such as travel, training requests, reimbursements, and interviews, ensuring clear communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Maintain effective working relationships with clients, contractors, and staff, consistently demonstrating professionalism, diplomacy, and tact.
- Oversee project planning and execution, including setting targets, delegating tasks, ensuring synergy between teams, and adjusting schedules as needed.
- Perform quality control to ensure all projects meet established standards, while communicating progress to executives and stakeholders.
- Implement policies, procedures, and workflow management systems to optimize efficiency and ensure project goals are met.
Legislative Support Responsibilities :
- Review and process Legislative Reference Memoranda (LRMs) to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
- Update and maintain the Institution Subscription Database and Legislature Tracker.
- Review, update, and submit correspondence and reports related to legislative activities.
- Submit weekly reports, gathering input from the team and transferring information to a shared drive for institutional tracking.
- Coordinate and manage communication between the client and legislative bodies, ensuring all actions align with client objectives.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of legislative project materials, providing logistical support for meetings and legislative initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism, diplomacy, and tact in both written and oral formats.
- Provide high-level administrative support to senior leadership, displaying strong critical thinking, independent decision-making, and sound judgment.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, consistently producing high-quality work products with minimal revisions.
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, proactively identifying assignments and solutions to challenges, including scheduling conflicts.
- Work independently with conceptual guidance to meet deadlines and respond promptly to information requests.
