Primary functions and essential responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Supervise analysts and associates
- Provide ongoing oversite and review of the monthly, quarterly, and annual valuation process for the private equity secondary funds as well a publicly traded Regulated Investment Company ( RIC )
- Reconcile and analyze valuation changes and drivers across portfolio investments over time
- Liaise with onshore and offshore internal resources, fund administrators and auditors to meet monthly, quarterly and annual reporting deadlines
- Work closely with finance operations and Investment Management in reviewing and managing monthly investment valuations in order to meet financial reporting deadlines
- Oversee and review monthly valuations
- Preparation of quarterly and other ad-hoc materials for board of directors and valuation committee
- Support portfolio management including diversification, performance, and other complex analytics
- Provide data for investor presentations and fundraising efforts
- Participate in firm initiatives and team specific projects for process improvements
Qualifications
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics with record of high academic achievement
- MBA or Masters Degree in Accounting is a plus
Experience Required :
- 8+ years’ experience in Private Equity / Private Real Estate investment analysis, accounting, or related field
- Strong understanding of US GAAP Fair Value principles applied to secondaries valuation and RICs
- Understanding of complex waterfalls and incentive fee calculations
- Strong staff oversite and development of junior resources
- Ability to work both independently and as a productive member of a team
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver high quality deliverables
- Experience with implementation of new processes and technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint is required.
- Experience with other technologies such as eFront (or similar), Workiva, PowerBI, and Power-automate.

Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus.
Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
$180,000 - $200,000
