We are currently seeking an Engineering Project Manager to work closely with our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the planning, project scope, execution and completion of a project while managing the team, timelines and resources.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Work directly with Engineering team to ensure execution of projects while meeting, performance, quality and scheduling goals
- Create and execute strategic goals, such as roadmaps to drive efficacy
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Report and escalate issues or major roadblocks to Leadership as needed
- Create monitor KPIs for product success
- Manage the product lifecycle and become the on-site expert for all inquiries
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to identify opportunities for improvement, including competitive and customer analysis, researching technological developments, and identifying trends and opportunities in the industry
- Utilize software to keep track of tasks and schedule
- Ensure teams are collaborating well, and staying motivated and on schedule
Skills and Knowledge
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management
- Proven ability to understand and interpret detailed engineering drawings and associated documents
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, as well as a proven ability to drive complex projects with minimal oversight
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions
- Exceptional communication skills and social awareness
- Results-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to take charge or play a supporting role
- A consulting background, lighting industry background, LC credential, PMP or other relevant industry certifications or registrations is a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
