Salary :
Come join the Sigma Team as a Facilities Electrician. If you possess a strong work ethic, great attention to detail, enjoy variety in your work and have previous experience in facilities electrician roles, we would love to hear from you! The Facilities Electrician will install, repair, modify and perform preventative maintenance on all electrical units, controls, components and related wiring to support our facility.
This person should understand electrical theory, principles and work safety while exercising proper care and protections of the facility.
You will collaborate with facilities technicians and operations management on projects within the facility. *Full-time or part-time opportunity available*
QUALIFICATIONS
- Electrical Certification, Journeyman License, Associates degree or trade school required with a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5-7 years related field experience
- Strong project management background & ability to lead outside contractors
- Must be knowledgeable of Allen Bradley systems, VFD's, PLC's hardware and software, AC / DC circuits, 4-20 mA circuits and 440 MCC's
- Low & medium voltage experience - 480, 277, 120V
- Transform to 13,800 to 480 to 120
- Ability to write logic and demonstrate a working knowledge of RS Logic
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and drawings, handbooks, specifications, equipment manuals, parts lists and other written material as associated with the position
- Ability to work efficiently to support all teams within facility
- Interpersonal skills - effective communicator with internal teams, contractors and project managers
- Good troubleshooting skills, ability to diagnose and complete repairs in emergency situations
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team; self-motivated
- Physical ability to lift over 50lbs
- Assertive and confident with electrical work performed
- Proficient in LOTO operations
- Well versed in proper use of PPE for various situations
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keeps Operations Manager appraised of all electrical projects, building deficiencies, inspections and repairs
- Assist facilities technicians with electrical needs or other departments as needed
- Provide electrical maintenance support for facility
- Willing to learn all aspects of building
- Complete assigned projects in a timely manner
- Forward thinker - always looking for ways to improve facility as it relates to electrical needs
