Reporting to the Manufacturing Quality Manager, the Quality Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting all activities related to Quality data management and Business Management Systems (BMS) documentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain record retention, scan and upload data to support FAA, Customer and Conformity requirements as called for in Quality Manual and BMS.
- Perform activities related to Document Management support within the BMS and Quality System.
- Complete annual supplier quality mail-in audits. Support customer survey activity as it pertains to Quality requirements.
- Maintain Quality System Access Control and Training Management modules.
- Data management to support ERP maintenance and record keeping Collect and analyze data as it relates to Operational level Quality.
Interface with other functional areas of Quality department, gather data using available systems to generate required reports as required by Quality Management.
- Complete tasks assigned by Quality Manager related to First Article Inspection activity.
- Provide documentational support as required for customer contractual obligations as they pertain to Quality.
- Additional desirable skills : Manufacturing or Aerospace or related background preferred.Experience working with OEMs and large organizations preferred.
Willingness to learn and take responsibility cross functionally.Experience working in a matrix organization certified to AS9100 or similar standard.
- To assist with Quality issues as needed.
