Location : Norfolk, VA - Onsite

Job Description

As a Software Engineer II at HyerTek, you will analyze and study complex system requirements by utilizing research, discovery and development fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reutilization, domain analysis, and implementation management.
• Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, CASE tools, or other accepted design techniques.
• Estimates software development schedules, reviews existing programs through RDT&E, and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques.

Minimum Education / Experience

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, or other closely related scientific or technical discipline.

With a Master's degree (in the fields described above).

A minimum of eight (8) years experience, of which at least three (3) years must be specialized. Specialized experience includes : IT systems analysis and programming.

Must demonstrate the ability to work independently or under only general direction.
