Human Resources Assistant
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for the comprehensive administrative support of day-to-day human resources operations
- The HR Assistant will be able to assist in scheduling interviews and interviewing job applicants
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team-oriented outlook
- Greets visitors or callers and handles their inquiries or directs them to the appropriate person according to their needs
- HR assistants are responsible for various administrative tasks, maintaining employee records, and helping with recruitment
- Accepts, screens, and routes incoming calls
- Creates, organizes, and maintains electronic and physical employee files and paperwork
- Schedules hiring events and assists in the interview process.
- Provides administrative and technical support to HR Specialist staff, including staffing and recruitment, position classification, human resource development, human resource systems, and employee relations programs.
- Assists in processing HR-related actions, including developing and posting vacancies
- AD Hoc duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
- Enthusiastic HR Assistant with 2+ years of experience working in a company with over 150 employees
- An HR assistant must be well-organized and able to coordinate multiple tasks and projects at the same time
- Key skills for a human resources assistant include excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, thorough knowledge of HR practices, and knowledge of relevant legal regulations.
- Associate degree or 2 years of college
- Effective HR administration and people management skills.
- Excellent customer service and client relations
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
The Human Resource Assistant will provide comprehensive HR and Office Administrator support services to BTI Security’s corporate office.
This role includes administrative and technical support to HR management and staff, focusing on staffing, recruitment, HR development, employee relations, and workforce planning.
The HR Assistant will also assist with awards activities, document management, and various HR advisory and coordination tasks.
This is a hands-on, roll up your sleeves position that includes both tactical and strategic HR objectives. It is a full-time position (Monday through Friday) that reports directly to the Senior Director of Human Resources.
