Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanic to join our team. The Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and machinery to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

This role involves inspecting vehicle systems, troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, and replacing or repairing worn or damaged parts.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with various types of vehicles, possess strong technical skills, and be committed to providing high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Inspection and Diagnosis :

• Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical issues.
• Diagnose problems using diagnostic tools and software.
• Test systems and components to ensure they function properly.

2. Repairs and Maintenance :

• Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Repair or replace worn parts, such as belts, hoses, filters, and other components.
• Conduct major repairs on engines, transmissions, and other key vehicle systems as needed.

3. Documentation :

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts used.
• Report any major issues and recommend future maintenance work.

4. Safety and Compliance :

• Ensure all work complies with industry safety standards and regulations.
• Use protective equipment and follow proper procedures to avoid injury.
• Keep the workspace clean and organized.

5. Customer Service :

• Communicate with clients to understand their vehicle issues.
• Explain repairs and maintenance needs in simple terms.
• Provide accurate estimates for repair times and costs.

Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in automotive or heavy equipment repair.

Certification : ASE or other relevant mechanic certification is preferred.

Technical Skills : Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, hydraulics, and repair tools.

Physical Ability : Ability to lift heavy parts and stand for extended periods.

Communication : Strong interpersonal skills for client interactions.

Work Environment :

This role may involve working in various environments, including garages, shops, and outdoor locations. It may require handling hazardous materials and using heavy machinery.
