We are currently accepting applications for a Manager in Transaction Advisory Services for our Healthcare clients that will support our firm nationwide.

As a Manager you will be a vital member of the team managing and executing financial diligence project work.

  • The Manager can be based in any of the following any of our U.S. office locations (New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Boston, MA;
  • Braintree, MA; Woburn, MA; Princeton, NJ; Whippany, NJ; East Brunswick NJ; Red Bank, NJ; Saddle Brook, NJ; Providence, RI;
  • Baltimore, MD; Bethesda, MD; Nashville, TN; Boca Raton, FL; Orlando, FL; San Diego, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Orange County, CA;

San Francisco, CA; San Ramon, CA; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA) or remotely anywhere within the US.

How You'll Spend Your Time :

  • Managing and coordinating financial due diligence engagements
  • Focusing on quality of revenue for provider and payer transactions for our corporate and private equity healthcare clients
  • Coordinating with client management on diligence focus areas and provide real-time communications of issues and deal considerations
  • Conducting discussions regarding business performance and forecasting assumptions with senior team management
  • Creating and tailoring analyses of target financial data to identify valuation and contractual matters for consideration in evaluating quality of earnings, normalized working capital, and items affecting future cash flows
  • Writing reports that set out our findings and recommendations around the key financial and business issues in a transaction
  • Identifying integration, separation and post-transaction transition issues
  • Engaging in relevant marketing and business development activities
  • Developing and mentoring other team members and contributing to the ongoing development of M&A best practices

  • Project management of financial due diligence engagements
  • Ability to analyze financial and operational results of businesses to be acquired or sold through reviewing accounting records, understanding the drivers of the business and conducting interviews with management
  • Constantly researching industry trends and technologies, as well as seasonality and cyclicality on cash flow requirements to provide knowledge and insight to clients
  • High competencies with data interrogation techniques using excel and / or other software packages

To qualify for the role you must have :

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 4+ years of related (M&A) work experience; supported by an active CPA certification
  • Experience with healthcare clients
  • Significant public accounting experience
  • Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights
  • The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 40% on short notice

Ideally, you'll also have :

  • A proven record of excellence in a mergers or acquisitions transactions role
  • Experience gained within another large professional services organization
  • Established networking skills in a relevant industry

The compensation for this position will vary by location. If you reside in California, Washington State, Washington, D.C.

or NYC, Maryland or Rhode Island please see below. In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance.

Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.

California ranges are from $120,000 - $150,000 annually

Washington State ranges are from $120,000 - $150,000 annually

Washington, D.C. ranges are from $120,000 - $150,000 annually

Maryland ranges are from $120,000 - $150,000 annually

NYC ranges are from $120,000 - $150,000 annually

Rhode Island ranges are from $120,000 - $150,000 annually
