JOB DESCRIPTION
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate relevant machinery to transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.
- Operate lifting devices, such as forklifts and overhead cranes to load, unload, transport, and stack material. Position lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes.
- Secure material or products for transport to designated areas. Perform routine inspections on vehicles and material handling equipment.
Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV, HSE , Quality and Company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Punctuality is a must
- 1-3 Years of warehouse experience required
- Ability to work independently and with a group
- General Problem-Solving skills
- Forklift Operating experience required
- Overhead crane operating experience preferred but not required
- Ability to adapt and be cross trained to learn all job duties as required.
- Ability to learn material types and names.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Standing, Walking, Bending / Stooping, Push / Pull, and Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.
Lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs. Regularly.
Able to communicate professionally with internal and external customers. Able to work in elevated positions Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, Outlook, etc.)
