Position Description
Grow as a professional while making a difference in children's lives!
The Martial Arts Instructor will teach the fundamentals of Martial Arts to participants ages 7-13. Duties also include overseeing paperwork (roll and sign-in sheets) and assisting with program promotion.
Qualifications
- AGE : 18 years of age or older
- EDUCATION : High School Diploma or equivalent; college education preferred
- SPECIALIZED SKILLS :
- Strong background and minimum 1 year experience teaching martial arts to children
- Programming / curriculum planning
- Experience working with children
- Ability to communicate effectively and relate to youth.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse group of individuals
- Strong character values, communication skills, emotional maturity
- Current EMSA First Aid, Adult, and Child CPR and AED Certifications - (ARC, AHA, and ASHI certifications only)
