Interstate Assembly System’s is looking for Field Service Technician(s) of all skill levels for our Sacramento California location.

We are currently seeking candidates who are specializing in Heavy Duty Trucks, electrical, and hydraulic systems as well as deep knowledge of Lube and Mechanic trucks.

Pay Range : $27.00-$37.00 per hour DOE

Field Service Technician Job Duties :

• Responsible for repairing, maintaining diesel engines and diesel components used in various vehicles and diesel equipment.
• Accurately and efficiently diagnose complex diesel engine conditions and make necessary repairs.
• Communicate effectively with peers, foreman, and service team regarding those repairs.
• Quality control work performed to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
• Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion.
• Meet requirements for certifications.

Field Service Technician Requirements :

• Valid Driver's license (Bonus compensation for CDL holders)
• Must possess a good work ethic, a positive attitude, and be reliable.
• Must possess an excellent understanding of Detroit Diesel engines through the current GHG17 product.
• Experience with other diesel engine platforms such as Cummins, CAT, & International are a plus.
• Other mechanical skills desired but not essential : Hydraulics, Brakes & Suspension, Manual Transmissions, Drive Train, and Automatic Transmissions.
• This is an atmosphere that is driven by customer satisfaction, accuracy of diagnostics, and efficient repairs. If you feel like you have this to offer and more, please apply.

• Technical degree or certification a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have own set of general tools.
