Purpose and Scope
Responsible for gathering, managing and reporting complex data to assist management in foreseeing marketing partners demand forecasts while optimizing inventory levels.
Creates forecasting reports, inventory reports including excess and obsolescence, ad-hoc analyses, dashboards, etc. to provide insights to assess operational impact, trends and opportunities.
This role requires strong analytical abilities, a thorough understanding of business processes and complex data analysis.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Gather, manage and report complex data to assist management in optimizing both finished goods and purchased inventory levels, as well as suggesting dispositions for excess and obsolete inventories.
- Manage monthly excess and obsolete inventory review process
- Oversee forecast data in ERP system for all finished goods.
- Consolidate and analyze demand forecasts from multiple marketing partners.
- Generate and report on Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Provide data and input to various work streams internally that consume demand, production and shipment forecasts.
- Interpret data, analyze results and provide insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities.
- Perform duties as back-up to Master Data role, as needed
- Integrate data from multiple sources to produce the requested or required data elements.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and projects, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
- Knowledge of Smartsheet and ERP databases.
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with employees in various levels of management throughout the company including executive level personnel.
- Ability to effectively prioritize action items and manage deadlines.
- Strong ability to think analytically, apply analytical techniques and provide in-depth analysis and recommendations.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner.
- Ability to document, prepare and present data-driven presentations.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems or similar subject area and two years of demonstrated ability in pharmaceutical / biotech / manufacturing Supply Chain environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two or more years’ experience with data analysis and reporting or similar experience.
Compensation and Benefits
- Core pay range : $65,000 - $75,000
