Job Description
We are seeking a UI Designer with the following qualifications :
- Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 6 - 8 years of experience, or a Master's with 6 - 8 years of experience.
- Demonstrate UI design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
- Proficiency in visual design and wireframing tools.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Understanding of n-tier, SOA architectures, and UI frameworks.
- Experience developing high fidelity wireframes using rapid prototyping tools like HTML, CSS, Axure, IRise, etc.
- Experience building low fidelity wireframes using Adobe Creative Suite, OmniGraffle, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.
- Experience with implementing Responsive design (scaling the layout to fit different devices like smartphone and desktop).
- Ability to be results-focused, proactive, highly collaborative, and confident under pressure.
Desired Qualifications (Nice to Have) :
Java Web application development experience focused on front end using JSP, JSF or other UI-based technologies.
